In December 2005, PetroTrans assisted CITIC resources/CITIC Group to deal with the oil asset of Nation Energy (NE) in Kazakhstan.  Nation Energy produced 52,000 BPD with a proven reserve of 450,000,000 barrel. The transaction successfully concluded in December 29, 2006 in Calgary, Canada.
